Increased Severity Review- Option 2 Disease Payment

INCREASED SEVERITY REVIEW LETTER
Dear Claimant or Attorney of Record: Our records show that you accepted an Option 2 Disease payment from the Settlement Facility- Dow Corning Trust (SF-DCT). Claimants who received a Disease Option 2 payment and who develop a Disease Option 2 condition that has a higher payment amount than your original condition are eligible to apply for an additional payment. Such additional payment is called an Increased Severity Payment under the Dow Corning Plan. PLAN CRITERIA
If you have a condition that meets the Plan criteria for an Increased Severity review, you may file a claim at any time before the final filing deadline of June 2, 2019. At this time, the Court has not yet approved the distribution of Increased Severity Payments. However, if Increased Severity Payments are approved by the Court, claims will be reviewed in the order that they were received. The Facility is now receiving and reviewing Increased Severity claims. If you have a condition that meets Plan criteria for an Increased Severity Payment, you are encouraged to file a claim now to assure your place in line. It is important that you keep your address updated with the SF-DCT. If you do not inform the SFDCT of any change in address, the SFDCT will not be able to issue any paymentsto you.
