DECEMBER CLASS 7 UPDATE
On DECEMBER 3, 2015 the District Court issued an Order approving the Consent Order To Establish Guidelines for Distributions From The Class 7 Silicone Material Claimants’ Fund. This means that the Court has authorized approved disease claims in Class 7 to be paid and has approved the parties’ agreed interpretation of “marshaling.” The order will become final once the 30-day time period for appeals has expired and no appeals have been filed. Payments can begin once the Order is final. This means that payments will not begin until sometime in January 2016 or thereafter.
